Hi Sofi, how are you? Yesterday was the best day I had in K.L. I went to the protest as an individual, came out with the spirit of revolution. Got to know new friends. I was the only non-Indian in there but I am very happy to forge new friendships. There were about 100 of us at Pulapor, all detained but no charges because we were picked up on the roadside.
It was horrible coz the police just randomly picked Indians near KLCC. Bit scary when 12 policemen surrounded me for talking to an Indian man, and after that I was bundled into the truck, it was very hot in the truck. But the guy Krishnan, whom I talked to, reassured me that we would be okay. I began calling people I know in K.L, including you, sorry to have troubled your sunday, your name seemed to crop up first...
I had to erase all the stuff I recorded on my flipcam in case they searched me, really fucking cops! Spent 6 hours, no food, but very lively conversations I had with other detainees. After we checked out, we were escorted in the truck again, which was hot and stuffy and I was then dying for a chilled bottle of beer. Had a nice meal with my new friends and we parted with great sense of comradeship.
This is the stuff that most Sabahans will not understand, they are too fucking parochial and inward looking. Sad...

Sabahans? Apa hal pulak Sabahan? Compared to others we understand others far better and we are more open towards others. Inter-marriages between different races are common here n we have no problem mingling with othersof different creed, races n faiths. Who is this Regi Lim? She should first visit us here in Sabah before uttering something she has no prrof or if she'd been here she might have mistaken Sabahans for those illegals.
Inward looking? Haha.....I am sure this fellow mistyped Sabahans for other people....Furthermore, what Sabahans have to do with the plights of the Indian community? We are also suffering because of the master race in Peninsular Malaysia. We can't even help ourselves due to those master race n she dared to accuse us of being inward looking and parochial? She needs to be educated or reeducated of the plights of other races at the expense of the master race.
Watan said "Inward looking? Haha.....I am sure this fellow mistyped Sabahans for other people....Furthermore, what Sabahans have to do with the plights of the Indian community?". Isn't that kind of just making the point. Inward looking means not caring about injustices against other people or other communities. As long as you say 'what do we have to do with the Indians?', then you're just reinforcing the point!
what a stupid comment from 'Watan'. he can't even understand his comment and yet wants to give comments. haha what a real stupid blogger you are.. Watan
