Kerajaan Rakyat l Written by Mustapha Ong: What a joke to remark that "Najib's credibility is NIL". This is definitely a political statement by PKR's top guns including Chua Jui Meng and N Surendran. If these two jumping frogs do not know how to spin or hold the horns of the bull, they will be in deep shit. Just because they hold senior positions in PKR do not give them the privilege of ridiculing our prime minister Najib Tun Razak.
I believe that these kuncu-kuncu or "running dogs for Anwar" should do better to rescue their big boss from his troubles and immoral doings as alleged in the current Sodomy II trial and the X-video clips.
As far as Umno and the majority of the people are concerned, Anwar has no more credibility and his political future is on the rocks. Anwar was previously jailed for corruption, etc, for a few years in Sungai Buloh. But at that time he could use his remote control through his wife Wan Azizah and his powerful aide Azmin Ali. However, this time if Anwar is found guilty by the court for his sinful acts against Saiful, he will be unable to use his remote control from Sungai Buloh.
I am not prejudging the outcome of the current sodomy II trial, which is the final verdict of the learned Judge. Anwar is still innocent unless and until he is presumed guilty.
Seismic announcements
As far as prime minister Najib and his wife Rosmah are concerned, there is no need for both of them to get messed up in Anwar's Sodomy II trial. Najib is our prime minister and he is not the PM for the Malays, Chinese, Indians or whatever, but he is the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
It's a shame that while the foreigners show their unconditional respect to Najib in his seismic decision to abolish ISA, the Emergency Acts and other related Printing Acts, some of the die-hard opposition and Pakatan Rakyat supporters openly denounce and criticise the prime minister.
Lim Kit Siang has said that Najib is losing support and that he was forced to repeal the ISA and other draconian laws. However Lim Guan Eng and Tok Nik Aziz praised Najib for his bold decision. Then we have Karpal Singh and Tan Seng Giaw who had also supported Najib for his unprecedented decision with his seismic public announcement even before the matter is being debated in Parliament.
Light at the end of the tunnel
Finally, we could be at the end of the tunnel and the PM is ready to dissolve Parliament after the Budget announcement in October. The current YDP Agong will have the privilege to give his royal assent before he completes his term in December 2011. YDP Agong will also have the privilege to stay a month or two in his new Istana Negara from October. I too predict that the 13th general election should be called in november 2011, but not necessary on 11.11.11, an auspicious date for Najib.
In a nutshell, I earnestly urge Najib to call for the 13th general election, not withstanding whatever other people say, including former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad. Others could say anything but as Mahathir said, the prerogative is with Najib as the incumbent prime minister.
On this note, I wish like to share this quote by RABBI ABRAHAM CRONBACH from New York with PM Najib and Iquote: "An election campaign should not be an orgy of mud slinging. An election campaign should be the opportunity for calm, unselfish, mature - if you will scientific - study of the issues. Therein lies America's great need, that politics should cease to be childish, that politics should not follow the way of the guttersnipe but the way of the mature, responsible, conscientious adult." unquote.
